Kin Canada is one of our country's largest service organizations with more than 700 individual clubs and 11,000 members. Members are devoted to improving the lives of residents and communities throughout Canada while also offering a wide array of volunteer leadership opportunities.

Originally founded by Harold Allin Rogers on February 1920 in Hamilton Ontario, today Kin Canada celebrates 100 years of Community Service. This grass-roots based organization offers individuals the opportunity to volunteer, participate in individual and group projects and network with community and business leaders.

The Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain have a long-standing tradition in delivery of programs and events in the Tri-Region including Holloween Spooktacular, the 2019 RCMP Musical Ride, the annual Stony Plain Kinsmen Farmers Days' Rodeo and Exhibition, One Mans' Treasure Antique Emporium & Marketplace, Parkland Ride For Tots, Special Olympics Fundraising Barbeque, Walk to End Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising Barbeque and the Kinsmen and Kinettes Christmas Hamper Programs. 2019 marked the 41st year that the Christmas Hamper Program has helped those less fortunate in the Tri-Region.

Tonight we welcome representatives from the Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain, Mr. Cal Robbins and Mr. Mike McMurray, and present to them a plaque of recognition.
