Proposed Motion
That third reading be given to C-1022-17- Traffic Bylaw Amendment.
Background/Analysis
With the growth of the City, new roads are constructed through the development process. Following various inspection and approval processes, new roadway inventories are turned over to the City to operate and maintain. Prior to each winter season any new roads are added to the City's snow and ice control program inventories and some individual roads are designated as snow routes. As snow routes are currently identified by Schedule 3 of the Traffic Bylaw, an amendment is required whenever snow routes are adjusted or expanded. Snow Routes are designated collector roadways where temporary parking restrictions may be seasonally enacted to permit efficient snow removal operations.

The snow routes outlined in Schedule 3 have been adjusted to update the priority sequencing, expanded to included Harvest Ridge Drive from Halladay Boulevard to Henderson Link and King Street from Hilldowns Drive to King’s Link. Hilldowns Drive from Grove Drive to King Street has been removed.
