Request for Decision Summary
The purpose of this report is to provide Council with background information for the public hearing regarding Bylaw C-1007-17, a redistricting amendment to the Land Use Bylaw changing 3.05 ha of land from UR - Urban Reserve District to P1 - Parks and Recreation District. The proposed redistricting would accommodate a storm water management facility.

Proposed Motion
That those in attendance be thanked for their input.
Background/Analysis
The proposed redistricting is located on a 3.05 ha portion of Lot 4, Block 1, Plan 052 2540. This area will provide for the development of a storm water management facility (SWMF) in the south central area of the West Area Structure Plan and will be part of Copperhaven Stage 2. This SWMF has been added into the development area as it is required to service this stage of the Copperhaven neighbourhood. The size and configuration of the proposed SWMF are generally consistent with the West Area Structure Plan.

Please see the RFD for second reading of Bylaw C-1007-17 for additional background information.
